Our Available Steers.

At Highland Dale, we offer Highland steers raised within our established cattle program for buyers seeking pasture-raised animals with a known management history. With more than 10 years focused exclusively on breeding Highland cattle, our operation emphasizes consistency, experience, and familiarity with the breed.

These steers have been raised on pasture and managed according to our standard husbandry practices. Animals are offered at an age commonly selected for processing, based on buyer preference and intended use.

We value clear communication and accurate representation. Buyers are encouraged to review all available information and conduct their own evaluations to ensure the cattle meet their individual needs and expectations.

Scottish National Fat Stock Club held its Premier Meat Exhibition last week, alongside the usual competitions, Marks and Spencer in conjunction with ABP organised and sponsored the Marks and Spencers Select Farm Steak Challenge.
Steaks were selected from animals processed at Bridge of Allan during the week commencing 6th October 2025 and the entries were allocated in to one of three categories – Open, Aberdeen Angus or Organic. The steaks were all then assessed by a panel of judges.
After being scored for appearance, the steaks were then all cooked and assessed in a blind tasting for eating quality. The good news is that the Open section was won by a steak from a pure Highland steer from J & M Stewart 👏
