Highland Dale Reason

On Veterans Day 2025, a day dedicated to honoring service and sacrifice, a white Highland calf was born at Highland Dale to Buttercup and Earl. We named this calf Reason in recognition of the values Veterans Day represents — purpose, gratitude, and continued respect for those who have served.

Reason’s birth on this meaningful day serves as a reminder that honoring service extends beyond a single date on the calendar. It reflects a commitment to remembrance, appreciation, and giving back in thoughtful ways.

In 2026, we plan to launch an initiative in which a percentage of proceeds from the sale of Reason the Calf stuffed toys will be donated to Veterans programs that support service members, veterans, and their families. Donation and beneficiary organizations will be disclosed as the program is finalized.
