Visit Highland Dale
There is something special about meeting Scottish Highland cattle in person.

Photographs capture their distinctive appearance, but they cannot fully convey the quiet curiosity of a fold grazing in the Missouri Ozarks or the experience of walking the pastures where generations of registered Highlands have been thoughtfully raised.

We welcome visitors by appointment to experience Highland Dale, learn about our breeding program, explore life with Scottish Highland cattle, and enjoy the beauty of the farm.
A Working Farm
Every visit begins with the understanding that Highland Dale is an active agricultural operation.

Our cattle are raised in a pasture-based environment where their daily routines always take priority. Seasonal farm work, calving, weather conditions, and the well-being of the animals help determine when visits can be scheduled.

We believe this creates a more authentic experience, allowing guests to see the fold in the environment where they are naturally cared for and managed.
Experiences at Highland Dale
Highland Dale offers seasonal farm experiences that invite visitors to slow down, connect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of the Missouri Ozarks. Throughout the year, guests may participate in guided bird watching, flower U-pick experiences, family-friendly Scottish Highland cattle encounters, and creative workshops such as paint parties inspired by the farm's landscapes and animals. As our seasonal calendar grows, we will continue to introduce educational programs, artisan workshops, and special events that celebrate agriculture, conservation, and the traditions of rural Missouri. Every event is designed to create meaningful experiences while respecting the rhythms of a working farm and the well-being of our fold.
